Welcome to the first WellToDesk Newsletter and as it is our first newsletter I guess I should start at the beginning. WellToDesk was created to help independent oilfield service companies with their wellsite deliverables. We have started with a cloud based, well centric database, as shown in the picture: We have multiple levels of security, making our product more secure than some of the current offerings from the main service companies. Once a well is created, service company field engineers and oil company personnel can be assigned to that well. Every time a field engineer uploads a file, the oil company personnel will receive an email to log in and download the file. When LAS and DLIS files are uploaded their header information is checked against the well they are being uploaded to as a security check; discrepancies are displayed and the field engineer has the opportunity to continue or not. While this was our first release, the next development is a simple add on. Upload an LAS file and download a DLIS file for easy loading in most petrophysical analysis software. This also shows our philosophy, add in complementary functionality In our next Newsletter I will reveal what we are working on at the moment. We welcome feedback and already we have made changes from client’s requests. We have a nimble development team allowing for rapid product development.
